Hello! Today I have a quick stripe manicure that I did the other day using butter LONDON polishes.
The main color in this manicure is butter LONDON Blagger. It's a beautiful rich blue color, not quite a "clean" color but only just. As with all of the butter LONDON polishes I've tried, the formula is flawless. The polish basically applies itself! Okay, not really, but it's smooth, shiny, and opaque without being thick at all. I didn't take notes on this manicure, but I am pretty sure I only used one coat. The other great thing about Blagger is that it didn't stain my nails like many blues do.
The stripe down the middle is butter LONDON Slapper. It's a super vibrant teal color, which unfortunately (unlike Blagger) stains on me. I love the color and the formula though, so just double or triple up on basecoat if you wear this one. I freehanded the stripe on with a medium length striper brush.
I love the extra bit of visual interest that a quick stripe can provide! It only took a few minutes to add the stripes to all my nails, and they fancified a simpler manicure.
butter LONDON lacquers retail for $14 and can be purchased at butterlondon.com, or in high end retailers like Ulta, Dillards, and Nordstrom. Check their website for locations.
The products in this post were sent to me by the manufacturer or their PR for review.
