Hello! I hope everyone is having a lovely day. Today's post includes swatches of some assorted Different Dimension polishes.
First up is Doppelganger. It's a sheer grey jelly base with different sizes of pink and white glitters. The glitters are all on the smaller side, with the exception of one larger size of whitish glitters (seen on my ring and pointer fingers clearly). The look of this is very delicate yet it still has a bit of an edge to it. I think it would be great if you wanted to push the envelope a bit in an office environment, you daredevils you. This shows 3 coats.
Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty is kind of #totesamaze, to borrow a hashtag from America's Next Top Model. It's semi-opaque jelly base is peppered with white, silver, and grey glitters. It looks super cool and I like that the glitter isn't super jam packed in this particular polish. This is three coats.
Un-Teal We Meet Again is a blue and teal glitter topper, made up of small and micro sized glitters. I've paired one coat here with OPI Skull and Glossbones. I really like this combination a lot! The teals are pretty, and there is a nice mix of matte and metallic glitters, too.
To the Moon and Back has a really sweet inspiration behind it! Missi, the creator of Different Dimension, says that she always makes it a point to tell her kids that she loves them to the moon and back. Love that. This polish has a heavy shimmer base, as well as dark blue and silver microglitters. It also has moon and star shaped glitters. I've shown it layered over Zoya Kristen. I found this one to be a bit too shimmery for me, personally, and shape glitters never really sit well on my curved nails (although I love them so!).
I Will Follow You Into the Dark is a dark metallic grey polish. This photo shows 2 coats. It looks a little brushy here, but it wasn't very noticeable in person. Also, there's some weirdness going on with my middle finger, but that's not the polish's fault. I had some odd nail growth happening which made the polished nail look a little bumpy. This polish is neat, and a good bit of diversity in the glitter-heavy indie realm!
Roswell is bluey-teal polish with a strong and bright greenish gold shimmer. Seriously stunning. This is only two coats. It looks beautiful in normal lighting, and then the sparkles come alive when in direct sunlight or lamplight!
The formula on all of these was good. I didn't find any of them to be thick or clumpy or goopy. Which one is your favorite? I think I'm gonna have to give it to Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty, personally, but there are some really close runner-ups!
Different Dimension is sold on Etsy, and you can also like the brand on Facebook for news and updates!
