theBalm Hot Ticket Stenciled Stars

Good morning! Today's post is a bit of nail art using two polishes from theBalm, plus swatches of each individually.

For this nail art, I used the same star stenciling technique that I did for my Fourth of July manicure, except without the gradient. Since I wasn't doing the gradient, there wasn't really a need to sponge the second color on, so I just painted it over the tape. You can find the tutorial in the post located here.

For the base color, I used theBalm Hot Ticket in Coral Reef-ined. The star color was done using theBalm Hot Ticket in Orange You Glad You're Not Blue.

Here is a swatch of Coral Reef-ined alone. I used three thin coats for full opacity on this polish. I really love this color. It's kind of a bright pastel, if that makes sense? Application didn't give me any issues.

Here is Orange You Glad You're Not Blue alone. This polish also required three coats because it was a little sheer, almost jellylike. It did apply very evenly and easily though. I found this color to be very bright and red-leaning, especially when worn alone.

theBalm Hot Ticket nail polish can be found at theBalm's website, where each polish retails for $10. There are a lot of interesting looking colors there, including some metallics and even a matte!

The products in this post were sent to me by the manufacturer or their PR.
