Hey guys! Have you heard of the indie brand Shimmer? It's a shop that specializes in super dense glitters, with glitter pieces that are usually on the smaller size. The glitters are really complex, and I wanted to do them justice! In order to do that, I am trying out this swatch/macro combo image, which I hope is helpful.
All of these swatches are just one coat of glitter, so you can see how terrifically dense they are. You would definitely be able to achieve full coverage in two or three coats for most of these if you wanted to.
It is also worth noting that these are incredibly easy to apply. They control well, aren't thick or clumpy in the least, and the glitters disperse evenly without any pushing.
Carmen is an orangey gold. I have shown it here over OPI If You Moust, You Moust.
Caroline is a gorgeous blend or purples and magentas. For this swatch, I have layered it over American Apparel Dynasty.
Cassandra is an iridescent glitter topper, reminiscent of China Glaze Snow Globe. For this combination, I have layered it over OPI Black Onyx.
Cindy is a rich red glitter accented with gold. I have shown it here over China Glaze Prey Tell.
Gerry is a deep indigo with accents of red and blue. This swatch shows it over China Glaze Gothic Lolita.
Jennifer is a subtly beautiful glitter in a silvery blue. It kind of reminds me of antiques! Here I have shown it over Sally Hansen Wet Cement.
Jenny is a tealy-blue glitter with purples and golds. Here it is layered over China Glaze Sea Spray.
Melissa is a pink and purple party with bits of gold and red. Perfect for the girly girl in all of us! This swatch shows it over China Glaze Purr-fect Plum.
Stephanie has a blue base, but there are so many other colors in this one! It's a favorite for me. I have shown it here over China Glaze Secret Periwinkle.
Tracy is a cool toned gold. Here is Tracy layered over China Glaze Westside Warrior.
Trisha is an orange lover's dream! Of course, it's not just orange -- you'll also find bits of blue, purple, and gold. I have layered it over China Glaze Kalahari Kiss.
Vanessa is a sultry dark glitter, with black, silver, and reds. I have shown it here over OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine!.
Phew!! Can you believe these? They are really complex and beautiful. I'm not usually one for this type of glitter but I've got to say that these are great. My favorites would have to be Cindy, Stephanie, and Gerry, though it's hard to narrow it down that far, even.
