Today's post is a couple of swatches from the brand Sheswai. I hadn't really heard much about this line until recently, when a couple of posts started popping up about a polish named "fuckyeah." I was obviously very intrigued! Not only is the name amazingly amusing, but the polish is quite pretty to boot.
Here is Sheswai fuckyeah, a highly pigmented and almost neon fuchsia creme. I used two coats for this swatch and the formula was really great. It dried semi-matte, so I have used topcoat in this swatch. This polish dries darker than it applies.
Sheswai stoked is a less controversially named green-leaning teal creme. I used two coats for this swatch. This polish's formula was not quite as easy to work with as fuckyeah was. It was on the thicker side and didn't self level very well. However, topcoat did help smooth things over!
Sheswai Lacquers are three free and come in a gorgeous bottle with an environmentally conscious wooden cap. Fuckyeah is a limited edition shade, while stoked is a spring/summer 2012 color.
These Sheswai lacquers came from BeautyPopShop. They retail for $16 per .5oz bottle. They are also available on the Sheswai website.
